Katie & Matthew are so full of love and joy, especially when planning their wedding. I wanted their florals to feel timeless and elegant, with a modern twist which was exactly Katie's vision. Their stunning wedding at Comforts of Whidbey gave me the opportunity to work with flowers in new ways, and I am so happy with the result.
For their ceremony, the arbor was already covered in beautiful wisteria, but I wanted it to feel personalized for them. Arranging whimsical greenery and all the white roses in addition to the existing wisteria was truly a labor of love. Seeing it come to life for their ceremony was incredible. I especially love that the colors blend so naturally with the venue setting.
Minimal ceremony and reception décor can feel modern and chic, and I had fun elevating the look for Katie & Matthew's wedding with ivory roses and fresh greenery. From their welcome sign to their gift table, the floral arrangements added romance and tied the look and feel of their wedding together.
Katie’s bridal style was simply beautiful. Her long veil and chic slip dress emphasized her natural beauty, and I wanted her bouquet to complement her style. Fresh eucalyptus is a favorite of mine, and I couldn’t resist accenting her bridal bouquet of ivory roses with a few green sprigs.
After the ceremony, these two had the sweetest reception with family toasts and dancing. They chose to have a sweetheart table, which I decorated with a garland of greenery accented with roses. Seeing these two surrounded by so much love on their wedding day felt so special!
The cake cutting was one of my favorite parts, because Katie couldn’t resist sneaking a taste of the icing straight from the knife. How cute are these moments captured by Amanda Anne Photography?
So happy for these two as they start their life as newlyweds!
